C22.R5 of the PRTR Improving the system of non-contributory economic benefits of the General State Administration

One of the main objectives of component 22 of the PRTR is to support inclusive growth, reducing income inequality and extreme and moderate poverty rates through the deployment of the Minimum Vital Income, for which the Reform number 5 is articulated, focused on the improvement of the system of non-contributory economic benefits of the General State Administration.

Reports

The MISSM has prepared a report on the coverage gap in the implementation of the Minimum Vital Income (IMV), a phenomenon also known as Non Take-up. This problem refers to all those households eligible for the IMV benefit that ultimately do not apply for it. The main objective of this study is the description and contextualization of the work carried out in response to the Non Take-up phenomenon of Minimum Vital Income in Spain and contributes to the design and improvement of public policies, since it allows us to deepen our understanding of this coverage gap in the implementation of the IMV.
