The Statistics on Foreigners with a valid registration certificate or residence card is compiled from files extracted from the Central Register of Foreigners and shows the number of foreigners who, on the reference date, have the residence document required by Spanish regulations: residence permit (for those who do not have EU citizenship), registration certificate or family member card (for those who have EU citizenship and their family members) or TIE-Withdrawal Agreement (for those who have British nationality and their family members who are eligible for the Withdrawal Agreement as a result of Brexit).
These data are published quarterly, referring to the last day of each quarter.
The data from the last quarters may be affected in subsequent publications due to the incorporation of new information.
